Join us at Total Pet on Saturday and see what your bunnies have been doing. We will be accepting donations as well as recyclable bottles and cans. All donations received will go directly to the bunnies to supply nutritious food, fresh water, shelter, and room to run and play out of harm's way. Also a Huge thank you to our hosts and volunteers. A total of over $2500 was collected at these sales of treasures put on by our Bunny supporters. Join some of our Bunny supporters who have stepped up to help us raise funds and are running garage sales this weekend. Bubbles for Bunnies is back!It was hot hot hot and the fundraising team managed to wash a whole bunch of cars while taking in the sunshine. Thank you to all who attended and please look for our next wash coming soon. With an added bonus!! Time to get your Car washed? TRACS will be holding their popular Bubbles for Bunnies Car Wash next weekend. Added to the event this year the fundraising team will also be accepting all your recyclable bottles. Clean out your recycling bin and bring them with you when you get your car washed and we will take them off your hands. There will also be information available on the over 600 Kelowna Rabbits in the care of TRACS as well as they will be accepting any additional donations for the ongoing care of the over 600 rabbits now in our care, for food, shelter and veterinary care. *Join us* Saturday July 18th Car Wash by donation *COME ON DOWN! Yard/Bake Sale and Bottle DriveUPDATE!!! The weather was sunny and warm and the company great! We managed to raise just under $1100 for our bunnies this weekend at the garage sale. Thank you to everyone that came out or that donated items to the sale. And also to the bunny supporter that lent us her yard for this successful sale Saturday June 13th and Sunday June 14th Something for everyone Donations of quality sellable goods accepted. Drop off inside driveway on circle in driveway, pls place under tarp. Pls no large items or appliances Also accepting all your Recyclable Bottles for our drive All Proceeds going to TRACS the Responsible Animal care Society for the care

Yard Sale and Bottle DriveThank you to all who attended or donated to our Yard Sale and Bottle Drive on May 2nd. The weather was grand and turnout was good. Also a Big Thank you to Highlands Education Centre who held a garage sale in April with a 1/3 of the proceeds going to TRACS. Between both events we raised close to $500 to feed our beloved Bunnies. Saturday, May 2, 9am-2pm Kid's furniture, Toys, Stuffed Animals, Videos, CDs, Books, Pictures, Furniture, Household Goods, and Nik Naks. Something for everyone! We will also be accepting all your recyclable bottles! All proceeds will go to our Beloved Bunnies
Stuff the Bunny MobileUpdate!! Thank you to all who came out to see our Bunny Mobile and help stuff it for the Bunnies. The Bunny Mobile was stuffed with $350 worth of much needed food for the bunnies as well as some toys, bowls and water bottles. The Bunnies also received $180 in donations, making our first Bunny Mobile outing a great success!  See full-size version of the above poster! Come to this fun event on Blooming Baskets for BunniesBlooming Baskets for Bunnies - another successful fundraising endeavor! Our supply of baskets sold out in just under 3 weeks. Thank you to everyone's support! BUT...due to popular demand we have managed to get some additional baskets. Limited number - Order now! 2009 Calendar sold out!Update! Thank you to all who purchased a "Rabbits of Kelowna 2009" Calendar for yourself and your friends. We started with 150 calendars printed and because of the demand printed another 100 for a total of 250 sold. This fundraiser was a great success thanks to our supporters. We hope you enjoy your monthly bunnies and look forward to bringing you more Furry Friends for 2010. Bunny for your HunnyUPDATE!!! Our little Valentine Bunnies would like to thank everyone who made their day by letting them be a part of your sweethearts Valentines day. Quite a few Valentine ecards were sent out on February 14th, and there was also a good turnout for sponsorship at our booth at Total Pet. In total our furry little Valentines managed to collect close to $1000 and a good time was had by all. We even managed to get the staff to sport bunny ears. Once again we would like to "Thank You" for your continued support. Not sure what to get your Honey for Valentines? D.R. ElvisUPDATE!!!"Rockin for Rabbits" with D.R. Elvis was a big hit. This event was sold out and a great time was had by all. Elvis put on quite a show and the evening raised just over $2400 in ticket sales plus a silent auction. These funds will be used to place more rabbits into the sanctuary. A HUGE Thank you to D.R. Elvis for a great show as well as all of the Bunny supporters who donated auction items. And of course the Bunnies would like to send out another BIG thank you to all who attended and made the evening a success. 'Tribute to a Legend' A Benefit Concert for the 'Sponsor a Bunny - Save a Life' campaign Saturday Dakodas Sports Bar Tickets $25 Ticket price includes: Garage Sale & Sponsor a Bunny EventUPDATE!!!TRACS would like to give a Huge Thank you to the Highlands Children's centre for stepping forward to help the bunnies. The Garage sale held at the centre by teachers and students, raised over $700 and moved 11 bunnies up the ladder to the safety of the sanctuary. Thank you also to all who donated goods for the sale. The Highlands Children's Centre has stepped forward to help the Bunnies of Kelowna. The teachers and children at the centre will be holding a Garage sale on Saturday September 27th from 9 am to 2 pm, at the centre which is located at 870 Francis Avenue. All proceeds will go to TRACS (The Responsible Animal Society) who is currently working to save the bunnies of Kelowna. They have also invited TRACS to set up their "Sponsor a bunny" booth for donations and to answer any questions people might have about what they do. If you cannot make it out to the Centre's Garage Sale & Sponsor a Bunny event, the Highlands Centre will be accepting donations of any good quality, sellable items, at 870 Francis Avenue on Friday September 26th between the hours of 4 and 6 pm. Sponsor a Bunny Event & Bubbles for Bunnies CARWASHUPDATE!!!Another successful fundraising event! Our fundraising team held a "Sponsor a Bunny Event & Bubbles for Bunnies CARWASH" on Sunday August 31st at Canadian Tire in kelowna and managed to raise another $1100 dollars towards helping those bunnies hop to safety. A big thanks to all who attended as well as whomever was in charge of the Weather....another beautiful sunny day in the Okanagan. Sunday August 31st 10am to 3 pm Help save the Bunnies of Kelowna by sponsoring their way to safety. Come down to Canadian Tire and donate any amount to the rabbit of your choice....Or have your car washed for a donation. Follow your Rabbits progress on line after the event at TRACS-bc.ca. Funds will go to spaying and neutering the bunnies as well as relocating to a safe sanctuary. Every dollar helps!
Sponsor a Bunny - Save a LifeUPDATE!!!Our "Sponsor a Bunny - Save a Life" event held August 20, 2008, was a great success raising over $4000 and sending all of our website bunnies to the safety of the sanctuary. A big *Thank You* goes out to all who attended as well as to those who made donations on our website. Keep your eyes open for new bunny faces being posted soon. TRACS (The Responsible Animal Care Society) will be holding a "Sponsor a Bunny - Save a Life" fundraising event in an attempt to once again bring public awareness regarding the cull to the forefront, as well as to raise funds to save as many bunnies as possible. TRACS will be accepting donations thru their "Sponsor a Bunny" program whereby you can sponsor the rabbit of your choice for any dollar figure. You can then watch the bunnies progress as they make their way to the sanctuary. Their progress will be kept up to date on the TRACS website here. There will also be items available for sale and face painting for the kids. You will also be able to take a look into the life of a bunny at the sanctuary through photos and educational rabbit facts. Funds raised help pay for food, sterilization and building of pens and sanctuaries. Nutritious food, fresh water, shelter, room to run and play and veterinary care are all offered to these small delightful creatures. **Please note that to date neither the city nor EBB has offered TRACS any financial assistance. To continue our work we need financial help.** Wednesday August 20th Please come out and join TRACS in our efforts to correct, in the most humane way possible, a problem created through human irresponsibility. Baking for Bunnies Bake SaleThe Bubbles for Bunnies Carwash and Sponsor a Bunny event, which was held on Saturday June 28th, was a resounding success with numerous attendees signing up to sponsor a rabbit. There was also a steady stream of cars to be washed for donations. Funds raised help pay for food, sterilization, and pen-building for Kelowna's rescued rabbits. Our next fundraising event for the bunnies will be on August 3rd at the Rutland Centennial Pioneer and Family Picnic being held at Rutland Centennial Park from 9am to 3pm. TRACS will hold a Baking for Bunnies Bake Sale featuring pastries and breads from local bakeries. In addition we will run our Sponsor a Bunny program. The progress of the bunnies can be followed at www.tracs-bc.ca (click on Help Us Make it to the Sanctuary). With this event TRACS hopes to give the Kelowna bunnies the gift of safe refuge.
